No Farrell = a good thing.

I'm ok with him being out of the team (not actually being injured - wouldn't wish that on him) - I'm all for Smith getting a good run of games and settling in. This is a pre-RWC year, and I see Smith as RWC-starting 10, so let's get him game time.

I think the staffs are also missing Tipuric and Young.


As above I'm ok with Fazlet being out (also wish him a speedy and full recovery!) I'm curious how EJ will play this Ford starting and Smith after 60?

I’m not wishing Ill on Farrell, he’s been a class act, but I think he’s past his best and I’m bemused as to why he was included in the squad in the first place given the lack of match time in the last 3 months.



I have to say Ford has upped his game since the arrival of Smith. Whenever I’ve seen him play I’ve been impressed

Happy with the team announced by EJ today. Only question for me is the choice of Simmonds at 8 over Dombrant purely because the relationship between Smith and Dombrant must surely give that partnership the advantage. Only a minor gripe though as I really like Simmonds.

Would love to see Radwan in when fit; he’s possibly the fastest player in Rugby at the moment and that makes him so dangerous.
