In a word, no, not even on stats.

The lad has only played 9 games. 39th in the league in ppg, 26th in the league on rpg, but he is 3rd in blocks per game.

He's averaging 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks per game, albeit off reasonably low minutes. Nice numbers, especially for a rookie, but not the best.

He may be the best in time, but not now.

At the moment, in his first rookie season, he and Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City thunders, are battling to be the top rookie.

Both over 7 feet tall, and athletic and mobile.
