This weekend is the start of the Euro tournaments.
As a matter of interest who has and who wasn’t subscribed to Premier sports to watch this
I haven’t and I usually do sign up for most stuff I have an interest in

So far the English teams haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory. I wonder how long Rob Baxter has got? He’s not having a good season but has always been a standout manager of the Chiefs

Apparently only 8000 watched the Exeter match this weekend on PremierSport as opposed to 13800 at Sandy Park. Going well ….,, not. Should’ve accepted TNT offer.

The crowd at Sandy Park was closer to 10,000 but your point remains valid. Last year I watched virtually every match of every round of the tournament, this year I’ve been to the 2 home games at Sandy Park and that’s it. I just don’t want to be paying for yet another subscription … particularly as the Chiefs will not be progressing frown

I got the figures off Brian Moore’s article in the Telegraph.

Fair enough, the official figure was 10,234 so not sure where he got that from (or he’s making it up to demonstrate a point?)

I am not a fan of the Premier Sports coverage myself and it has taken the Champions Cup into the dark ages. Am sure the Chinese car company sponsorship has made Premier Sports millions. There needs to be better TV coverage across all platforms.

Such a moronic decision.

I don’t mind the £15 a month sub, but the quality is awful after watching TNT in 4k.

Apart from objecting to pay for something I previously got for free, I’d heard it was dire presentation so not bothered in that respect.

Yep, a proper thrashing, Toulouse bouncing back from last weeks below par performance.

So, as usual, it will be Ireland versus some very well financed French teams at the business end of the competition.

Toulouse are going to be very hard to beat again this season.

From the Leinster perspective, I believe the likes of Jordie Barrett (and his socks!) and Snyman are huge for us. It’s not since Brad Thorn that we’ve had such impactful signings. If we can get Dan Sheehan back and keep him fit through the 6Ns, along with Prendergast or Frawley, then I believe we’ve got a good chance again this year

Munster in France is going to be very interesting, and with LaROGchelle showing a drop off in performance of late I suspect Munster will sense a chance of taking a French scalp away in classic style

As someone who doesn’t really follow the English Premiership too closely, can someone tell me what has happened to Exeter? Both from recent European results and looking at their position in the Premiership table they seem to be in a bit of a state right now

A lot on injuries and losing key players overseas I gather. Shame as I like the club and fans are an interesting bunch. Baxter is a very good coach but can’t work miracles

Ah OK, thanks. Agreed, I have fond memories of going to an away Heineken pool match there about 10 years ago, and the fans were very welcoming
