Anybody catch this game? I'm in Paris at the moment.

France were extremely lucky to win 3-1 (2 goals in injury time - including contender for 'Own Goal of Ever' and an Henry 30 yard grass cutter with the keeper out of position) - although the first 5-10 minutes was more like a Chinese martial arts movie

Shame Cisse broke his leg again - he seems to be so unlucky! Thought it was harsh he didn't get to play more this season...

Yeah - look like our plan to sell him this summer back-fired.

His leg must made of glass? as he broke it twice with no tackle onto his leg!

I'm in Paris and you're right France were very lucky. Similar to their last game really. Scaped it

Strange choice of opponent also - Chinese aren't exactly known for their exposure to top class international football. Great way of guarenteeing injuries!

No, he broke the other one last time.
Good player - hope he recovers and stays at Livepool.
Possibley th only criticism I have of Benitex is he doesn't use Cisse enough.

Open compound fracture of tibia and fibula apparently.
2nd horrific injury in two years, looks like he has something of a weakness in that area. Hope he recovers again, poor sod.

On a club level it's £8m down the shitter and no Jermaine Defoe I fear.
