More likely that the sporting issues are that we have the English point of view rammed down our throats all the time.

It is more of a rivalry thing.

How many Man Utd supporters will be supporting Chelsea or Arsenal in Europe? Not many - same for Scots with English teams.

Talking from both sides here, you have to understand their problem. I think it's rather good for a country to be so nationalistic. The further South you go, the less people seem to be nationalistic. It's all about multiculturalism and integration which frankly I think is bks.

Then you have the issue that until recently, the Scots were run by an English parliament. Not Scottish, but English. This dates back centuries and the Scots have never liked this. The same goes for the Welsh.

At the end of the day, the roots of this problem are down to history and unfortunately they continue now, although I don't see why Murray should be so up-front publicly about it.
