Whatever the previous record was, I wonder if Esher have just beaten it today with their 148-0 victory against Manchester?

I actually checked the RFU website just to make sure it wasn't a typo on the BBC! hehe

That must have been interesting to watch. Well, as lot as you aren't a Manchester supporter.

ETA- just googled this to confirm, and on another blog someone has commented:
"Lucky to get nil."

Bless 'em for showing up!

Just imagine what the score might've been if Esher had been playing at home! rofl

Unfortunately Manchester have struggled to get a team together this season due to financial difficulties, so score is not surprising really frown

P.S Not a manchester fan but aware of happenings in the league

Ouch. So at a guess, they've got a whole season of that to look forward to and it wasn't just a freak result? I can't help feeling that if they're that outclassed, then their forwards at least must be under some pretty serious risk of injury.

Well it was the return fixture today.

The good news for Manchester was that the final score - 119-0 to Esher - wasn't as bad as last time.

The bad news for them is that Esher still scored as many points against them in this one game as Manchester have scored all season. Ouch. yikes

Esher should never have been in this league if it wasn't for stupid RFU messing with leagues half way through last season.

Well quite. Just a shame they lost a game on the way to proving that point.
