Football and the Spanish

I just wanted to vent a little on some simple business indoor football I played this evening. I am 6'5 and quite talented, physical enough on an 11 a-side pitch but far from a monster. Especially when played indoor with my business. Anyway I went into a challenge where I raised my foot just below knee height. He did the same and was crying that it was a foul. I never touched him and cleanly got the ball. He insisted that I went in to injure him. I told him that its a physical game and that as its business football there was no way I would have gone out intentionaly. To my suprise he Turned around and said wait until the next challenge. I thought this was pretty pathetic and to be honest typically spanish of the guy. I told him I was a foot taller then him and I was more then ready. Next challenge we went into the guy was a pussy cat.

I know its common that this st goes on in football but has anyone else had some run ins with Spanish players who seem to dance on fking fairy dust?
