I really dont get the reason behind MK and Plymouth. Who cares about MK Dons or Plymouth? They're pointless places, and home park is a dump compared to so many other stadiums that could've been included.

Plymouth!!! Huzzarh!

Home Park is the other side of the park to me and they're going to flatten it and put up a new 46,000 stadium but I never thought in a million years that they'd get on the list!

I think it's fair enough to spread the games across the country, give everyone a chance to see one, why not? I don't see why Bristol and Plymouth are on there though, that's maybe a bit much.

And as for Bristol?

What stadiums should be on there that aren't?

Why the exclamation marks?

Elland road is right up there in the top 10 stadiums in the country.

It does need a lot of improvement, especially the west stand, there's still wooden seats in parts of the West upper. Plans for world cup would include new west stand, and a 2 tier Kop nono should be increasing capacity to about 50k. As well as Papa Smurfs hotel and shopping plaza

Stadiums that should get it ER, Wembley, Old Trafford, St James's Park, Wembley, Bristol, Villa Park, City Ground then unsure which others should get it. I would have thought it would be one ground per region which should rule out Sunderland, Man City, leicester and derby, Hillsborough and the other London grounds. However there could be a case for 2 London grounds but if they did that they should keep Wembley for the final.

I think the idea is actually to have several stadiums in each region so teams can be based locally and play at several stadiums

How on earth will Argyle get 46,000 people in there? They can't even fill their current stadium which is about half the capacity

FIFA want new stadiums built as part of the bid and Plymouth needs all the investment it can get. I'd imagine a new stadium will be used for more than just Argyle matches.

Up the Forest! I actually like the idea but feel that they will always favour "bigger" clubs when making a decision.

Won't there be the great big new Olympic stadium in the East End by 2018?

Why won't they use that?
