Pacquiao is not only a world champion, he's a living legend.

His most recent fight versus Joshua Clottey saw an attendance of 50,994 and was the third largest for a boxing match in the U.S. recorded in the last 50 years (Muhammad Ali v Leon Spinks II did 63,350 at the Superdome in New Orleans in 1978). The fight was also shown on Sky.

I remember watching the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran and Thomas the Hitman Hearns on television (obviously before the days of BSkyB). Then there were the days of staying up all night to watch Mike Tyson come out and knock out his opponents in under a minute... It meant paying to get the sports channel, didn't quite agree with it then, but, to go along with the masses, it seemed worth it.

Now I have the TV license, the subscription to all the movie and sports channels... So why is there a viewing fee to watch David Haye's fights?

I'd much rather pay to watch Haye than Khan!
