The Masters and the Open are the only 2 golf tournaments I watch, other than that I don't really "do" golf. Augusta is a stunning looking course, especially in those years when the azaleas and magnolias are at their peak.

Been watching this evening and as above its an amazing course.

Really good to see the oldies doing well today and will be good to see if Tom Watson can repeat his Open heroics over the next few days.

Edited to add - Would be great to see an Englishman in Westwood/Casey/Poulter win a major!

I love the masters week

All you need is:

A HD TV
A fridge full of beer
4 take away menus
Doritos/kettle chips
Some coffee for the early hours stuff
An understanding wife!!

That is a Masters survival kit!!

Agree with most of the above......

In teh meantime, am I right in that CBS (I think) only give us limited coverage? i.e. Amen corner now and then 'full' coverage at 9pm? SOme sort of restrictive deal that cant be changed? Led by AN themselves and their quirky ways?

The Golf channel, I think, on Veetle... Very good quality stream.

Or

No idea if any of that is the Masters, but there might be some channels on there streaming it.

This where HD really comes into its own.

I was watching last night in HD and saw Tiger's low draw 2nd shot on the 9th and you could see the ball flight beautifully. I saw a replay in SD on the news this morning and I couldn't see the ball flight at all.

It was a great shot.

I don't have HD (boohoo) but the SD quality does seem poor at best, I'm not sure what on earth they have done to the signal to make it look like that, but you would never believe it went anywhere near an HD source. TV coverage is limited by the club itself and not the broadcasters.

The weekend is promising to be quite interesting, two Brits at the top of the leader board and Tiger playing very well all thing considered.

So time for some predictions, I'd love to see Poulter win it, he is a fellow Gooner afterall, but I think Tiger will snatch it on the last day.

Having just arrived home having hacked my way around 18, (we lost 2 and 1) I can safely say that whoever wins is an incredible golfer.....

Beautiful course - amazing golf and I cant wait to crack a tinny and sit down to a dose of Amen corner!

Only just upgraded to HD yesterday and so far been blown away by the difference. Looking forward to the last 2 rounds now!

Watching last night its amazing to see how easy it was for westwood to pick up a birdie on one hole but then blow 2 shots on the next one!

Spent my winnings from the Grand National betting on Westwood to win.

Pictures look so good even not in HD. Would GOlf look good in 3D ?

Should be a good evenings viewing, here's hoping Lee doesn't do what he usually does in this position. One thing I've prefered this year is that they've got rid of Gary Linekar as the main anchor, he was far too smug!

Bit of an Act Of God moment there with that pine tree candle dropping right in front of the ball as he putted it!
