Yes.
Go outside of the school holidays. Avoid the weekends if you can.
Richworth and Mainline gear does very well on there. They are very pressured fish so keep everything as fine as you can and tweak your hooking arrangements ( I did very well fishing snowmen on a blowback rig). Zigs work very well too - bits of black rig foam especially at night (go figure)
Set yourself up somewhere where you can view a lot of the water and if you see fish showing - move!
If you can chuck a spod (and a baited rig) 120+ yards then do it - getting a lot of bait into areas that most anglers cannot reach pays huge dividends.
