Goal of the Season.
Discussion
I may be biased, but it has to be Figueroa's half-way free kick.

I know most of you will say Rose's volley vs Arsenal, but I don't think it's as good as Maynor's.

Figueroa's goal was amazing.
To note a few;
Danny Rose's for me, whilst Figueroa's goal was good, Roses was during a derby game and was struck so well and I've still no idea how he kept it down. Was like something Paul Scholes would score. To note a few;
- Didier Drogba Vs Bolton
- Cameron Jerome Vs Liverpool
- Tom Huddlestone Vs Bolton
- Danny Rose Vs Arsenal

Honorary mention for Zenden's goal for Sunderland against Spurs.
Oh, forgot about that, also worth a mention.
Someone should start a poll with a few of the best so we can vote for our favourite?

Hadn't seen that one.Figueroa's goal was amazing vision, and very well executed, but Maynard's was sublime control in a tight situation. Would get my vote.
Well,
Crystal Palace's goal in the FA Cup against Aston Villa to take a 2-1 lead after they went into administration. The Villa goal keeper Brad Friedl had one of the best goal keeping records in the Premiership and is a very tough keeper to beat - even more so from 37 yards, even more so again when Villa were doing very well in the premiership and even more so again and again with Palace facing relegation after a 10 point deduction and loosing their best player.
What a blinder! Look at Friedl's face afterwards - oops!

yep, that's exactly what the commentator was saying, poor goal, lucky strike, bad wall, bad goalkeeping
There were something like 30 places between the 2 teams and also in different divisions - a very slightly different scenario to the playoffs where both teams were pretty much equal in position and form.
Well, clearly I'm a Palace fan but this game (slightly off topic) was amazing. 1990 FA Cup semi final against Liverpool. Palace 4 - 3 Liverpool. Dalglish in charge of Liverpool going for the double but failed at this game and Coppell in charge of Palace. The kind of game that makes football.
Look at the hair cuts, still 1980's style!
