Anyone else hate football?

I'm at work tonight, and despite being in a room mainly occupied by women, the football is on both TVs, voted by a large majority - 15:3

I know it's the World Cup. I know England are playing. (Well, I do now...)

But I just can't bring myself to give a toss. I think this is probably a man-fail, but I find watching football soooooooo tedious

Please tell me I'm not alone?

really enjoy playing it, don't seek it out to watch it, will watch it if it is a significan game, don't care at all for reading about it or following domestic football. hate the rampant cheating that goes on.

I don't "hate" football bit of a strong word IMO but it dosn't interest me in the slightest prefer other sports.

Hate it is a strong word. But, I'm not a fan.

What I do hate however, is the assumption by the UK media that every single person in the county lives, eats and sleeps it.

Seriously. The world cup hasn't even started and I'm sick to death of it already!

It's not like England are going to win, if we were half usful as a tem we'd have lucked into a World tittle in the last 44 years.

I don't mind watching the match when it's the England team playing, apart from that I am no longer bothered about football (I was a bit footie mad as a kid, played it all the time, did all the pannini stickers etc and watched every match). But I reckon I am going to lose out to Glee shortly.
