And KP again demonstrates the art of wasting your wicket.

When the hell will he learn?

I would like to say that he will learn when they drop him, however, it won't happen. Everytime you think he is on a poor run of form he suddenly hits a rich vein of form at the right time!

They should just beat him every time he throws his wicket away, a Pavlovian reposne style of teaching would surely do the trick!

Trott doing well against this quality opposition.

I'm sure this will be a good warm up for Australia.

To be fair Trott scored a ton on his debut against Australia in last years ashes, I was there and it's about the only thing I remember from the day smile

Guys, this South African is batting well for you. Looks like a gritty batsman.

Nah he just gets bored against what he thinks is poor quality opposition. Can't be arsed. Not very professional but there you go. Now if this was the Aussies, different story.....

Envy? Of what? A national cricket system that cannot produce world class batsmen?

I don't care one way or the other who your selectors choose and on which basis, but the inescapable fact is that your national cricket team is founded on non- English players. Kind of redefines a 'national' team. It is as hollow as an Australian rugby team half full of pacific islanders. Shoddy and pointless.

Unless and until the ICC change the rules on qualification rules for nationals naturalizing in other countries, then too bad. Its the same rules for everyone.

Personally I don't care who they pick, as long as its within the rules of the sport.

Was listening to tuffers on TMS, so funny in an otherwise dull match.

John, the truth is our youth cricket system was st for many, many years. We have made some improvements using the Sky money but it will take time to see if it's had\having any effect.

I would much prefer to see the national team made up of people who have been born, raised and played their cricket in England (as I know you would) however at the moment we simply couldn't be competitive enough if we did that. We pick our team according to the ICC rules and we're doing ok from it for now.

Hopefully the Sky money will allow us to cultivate home talent much more successfully and I long for the day that England is made up of 11 English men. For now though let's just enjoy the cricket without having to look at the family tree of everyone who makes a positive contribution.

Better than it works for you, maybe you should drop your quota system, we certainly have....

Let's hope that the ECB will continue to allow people onto the outfield. A friend who is there sent me a text saying what a fab exeprience it is. I would love to play a bit of catch on the outfield, or just to wander round getting differant views.

We've won, but I suspect that all we've learnt is that Bangladesh aren't very good.
