For ages, hollywood has re-written history to suit America's ego. I thought that film where America won the battle of pearl harbour was pretty top, as was the moment they captured Purple, and when lots of americans used Mini's to stage a heist to steal gold.

This rewriting of history has, however been topped, according to the New York post:
