excellent doc though.

i loved higgins as a kid as he was so fresh but he was hounded and loathed by the press.

he was a bit of a bad boy though at times.

very sad at the end seeing how unwell he had become.

i sensed a mistyness from the coppertop at the end too....

Was meant to play Alex Higgins in a single frame after winning a local league, however he failed to show. I have played a number of professional players, however the honour of playing against the person I believe/d to be the most naturally talented person to ever hold a cue is something I wish had happened in my life. Alas it did not, and it was not nice to see the end of his career, nor the last few years of his life. It was however also likely to be the case by the way he had always lived his life.
