Depends how big his problem is. If he's sniffing alot each an every day, Id bet his family are quite relieved its come out, as it may force him to deal with his problems.

It may have even been one of his mates that filmed him, for that very reason...

or a pay out from the paper!

The News of The World really are scum. Why can't they just let people live their lives? It's up to Ricky what he gets up to in his private life.

...as long as it doesn't impact anyone else. You could argue that anyone who helps create a demand in this market is contributing to the misery of others.

True, like when they rumbled the Pakistan betting scam, that's fair enough because it effects the whole sport. Ricky Hatton snorting coke or Wayne Rooney fking a prostitute should remain private.

Problem is Republik, these kind of stories sell papers and make them money!

I know. Its because of Britains obsession with celeb culture.

Drugs and Prostitution affect more than just the immediate participants. If you contribute to a demand for these things then the suppliers will continue to supply and people will continue to be exploited. I'm not saying that ridding the world of evil is the NOTWs intention with these stories, in fact you might accuse them of hiding behing a moral crusade to sell newspapers, but you can't say these are entirely private matters because they do, in a small way, contribute to the misery of many other people.

Hatton seems like another one that can't seem to take not being the centre of attraction

He will end up like Gazza ,

Can't blame NOTW for doing their jobs , i mean cocaine is hardly taboo these days ,

Hatton has been a complete schmuck since he got beaten by two far superior boxers

How do you work that out ? confused

I'd have thought that this was the last type of attention he'd be trying to attract.

I think your misunderstanding what i mean ,This would never have happened when he was a boxing champion Now that he's not , he is not the centre of attention so he needs something more to ease the boredom, because of everyone not wanting to have a piece of him or hanging on to his every word & the tv channels not asking for his appearance so often , same thing happened to Gazza , all his life he's been the star & now he's not ,& they find it hard to accept It, it can't be easy for him ,
He must have known he was being filmed ,

he was probably doing coke before his career ended, his performance against Manny wasn't anywhere near what he should have been capable of.

I'm not a boxing buff, , but even i know Hatton was no match for Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao, Even in his pomp i don't think he would have stood a chance with those two ,

Don't get me wrong i have always liked Ricky Hatton, just saddens me so much when we see our sporting hero's not behaving accordingly

Doubt it, drug testing would pick it up

I dont think he would have won but he could at least have made a fight of it like he did against pbf. I think the pbf loss really screwed him up.
