...are any of you lot going to the Horse of the year show?

my otherhalf is there with one of the horses she looks after today (it was 2nd in class last year, so fingers crossed for top slot)......I'm joining her up there this afternoon, going straight up from work at lunchtime
should be a good show

Nearly 10 minutes past and not a pic of a fit bird wearing jodpurs?
Come on chaps, keep up.
my other half has just rang to say she's taking loads of pictures (although I doubt she'll take the "sort" of shot you'd be interested in) Come on chaps, keep up.

We were going to go, but we changed our minds and bought tickets for Olympia in December instead because it fits in better with school holidays.
Used to go every year though.
my other half has been the last two years, this is my first visit...the horse she looks after has won the overall class this afternoon after winning its class this morning and has to be here for Sunday evenings supreme horse of the yearUsed to go every year though.

to say she is happy would be a massive understatement

What class was the horse in Y2? My folks were in to show horses and ponies (though now out of it all) and have been quite successful over the years. We've had winners at HOYS in show ponies, show hunters, hacks and cobs. I've been 2nd in show pony pairs and 13hh show ponies, never made it to the top step personally. Mind, this was 30 years ago when it was at Wembley.
