As much as i admire Bale, i do think the over reaction to a few excellent games has been laughable.

I happened to pick up the Sun today he's on about five of the pages. Still if he scores a brace the weekend, i'll put he's posters up on me bedroom wall.

It will all die down next week, Bolton will double up on him , I really coudn't believe Inter had no plan to stop him after the first leg in Milan

Surely even would be managers like us would recognise he would be a danger playing against you

It's not a "few excellent games" though, is it? He has been playing very well for a quite a long time now (v good last year from what I saw of him), however it's only now the the media have jumped in and they always blow things out of proportion.
