Gents,

Im hoping to travel down tuesday for the Wigan game, but need somewhere to park, idealy outside far enough away so it wont cost a small fortune and get the tube/train to the game, and return that night. Any suggestions?

Seriously Mods, How is asking where to park anything to do with sports?

Type arsenal in here

http://www.parkatmyhouse.com/uk/

Lots of people will let you use their driveway for the game - £15 seems to be the going rate

Would it not be better for me to park well away from the stadium and use the tube to get in?

Yes, park at Arnos Grove, it's only £1 in the car park at weekends and then only six stops on the tube. On the way back you are travelling away from the majority of people so the tube is less crowed. No need for directions from the tube to the Emirates just follow everyone else.

Will i have to Pay Congestion Charge as its a Tuesday night or is that not Central enough to be charged?

You're well outside the Congestion Charge zone there (stadium or Arnos Grove)

The station up the road from me is about 5 stops from Finsbury Park station which is about 5-10 mins from the stadium depending on which end your seats are.

Parking around here is not an issue - it's residential.

The (overground) station is Oakleigh Park.
