Stupid move, he was doing as well as could be expected. At what point will Newcastle realise chopping managers every couple of seasons is a bad idea.

A decision of highly questionable logic.

I can't wait to see the list of names who could be in line to be his successor.

I sincerely hope that fkwit JFK is not about to pitch up on the doorstep again.

I'll also add that Chris did a great job with very little money but a lot of decency and integrity.

Unreal. This is the guy who got them back up with no money, beat Sunderland 5-1 a few weeks ago and then Arsenal at the Emirates.

Even though he's a Spurs man, I'm disgusted.

Thats pretty poor from Ashley, but it must shirley have something to do with Hughton not getting the contract he wanted as this has gone on for ages now.

Hughton will be OK, there'll be a job going at Stamford Bridge come xmas.

Does seem a stupid decision, I'd understand if they were in the position of the WWW, but they're sitting OK mid table, given they only came up last season, isn't bad going.

Crazy decision, its not like they are rock bottom and not putting in good displays. Ashley really is a c0ck.
At least as a liverpool supporter i can be glad newcastle are back, they make us look rock steady.

I despair of that fat cockney clown and his minions.

What a huge, huge joke he is.

Given the limitations placed upon him I think Chris has done an admirable job in trying circumstances.

The dignity he has shown, in the face of some provocation, has been of the highest order.

I wish him well and hope that he gets a job at a club where he is backed and shown the respect he deserves.

Which manager, of any respectable level, would want to take this poisoned chalice?

I despair for the future I really do.
