Starting to think that we should pull out of the world cup , i get the hump when the premiership has a week break for an international game

This would mean a two month break , what a shambles F I F A is

Agree it's bullst but hey, we might win given how much we complain about being knackered in June after a full season. When I say win I really mean struggle less to get out of the group.

Its amazing how well all those other foreign premiership players play at world cups isnt it...

Only the English ones seem knackered...

I agree tho its a joke picking a country that in essence its impossible to play a world cup in.

I can't see this happening. The big European clubs will never agree to it.

And anyway, Qatar have promised that all their stadiums and training facilities will be air conditioned. They plan to use solar thermal collectors and photovoltaic panels to use energy from the sun which will then chill water. The theory is that the water will cool air which is then pumped into the facility.

A few stadiums in Arizona use similar technology albeit powered by conventional energy.

Still think giving the WC to Qatar was a bad idea but I'm sure thge organisers will sort the heat issues out.
