I was 8 and the old man got some freebie tickets to watch Spurs - simple as that. Was enchanted with the pro game and the Lillywhites from then on. Been through thick and, mainly, thin ever since but I have been so proud over the last 18 months.

1977 Cup Final. Dad supported Utd having studied there so I chose the other team (Liverpool).
A year earlier and I'd be a Southampton fan.

Another yid here... no good reason. Bristol born and bred and while I used to go to Rovers games they've rarely been of the highest quality - definitely a Gas Head though.
My grandfather used to follow Spurs results on the vid-printer when I was a boy and I just carried on. NB; his name was Reuben. wink

Newcastle United.

Both parents are from there so I had no choice - bds hehe

I did try and support Liverpool at first but that was soon beaten out of me!
(back in the 80's when they were winning everything)

Can't accuse me of being a glory supporter now nuts

it was 1985, United v Everton FA cup final, Kevin Moran sent off and a wonder goal form Norman Whiteside ("Whiteside......It's There!!!!").

My best mate at school took everton and I took united...although at the time we both used to go and watch Wednesday....

Lots of trophy free years might I add before the advent of the premier league etc...

Support Ipswich as they were the nearest team to home.

Only one in the family who does and have followed them for over 30 years.

It gets painful!

Dad. Plus I was actually born in Liverpool. If I had ever indicated I was going to support anyone other than Everton I'd have been put up for adoption.

Grew up in Bristol so had a season ticket for city. Now live in the SE so have become an honoury Gillingham (sorry Pikey army) fan for my sins.

Amazing how many manure and redste fans here in Kent. Most never been to their clubs respective city let alone the ground.

Of all the places I've lived and local sides I've cheered on I will foremost be a toffee till the day I die!

Season ticket holder for Glasgow Rangers.

Why? Generation thing with my father, grandfather, great grandfather etc.
Made very easy growing up, winning the league 9 times in a row through the '90s

Chelsea, as my parents and Grandparents do and Dad's side of my family are from London. I was told that if I ever decided to support a different team I would be disowned, which I regard as perfectly fair.

Norwich, because I was born here. What other reason is there to support a team?
London/Bristol/Norwich/anywhere else born fans of Manure/Chelski et all need not apply.
