Porky parry is hosting 606 on radio 5 tonight, i thought 5 live was supposed to be a serious news and sport station. Mike Parry is a clown (funny granted but still a clown). How long before he starts on with stuff about "horses should have wing mirrors" on a serious football station.

Yes and he was serious about horses having wing mirrors so thier riders could see the traffic coming from behind

To be fair, if there's one show that his irreverent, madcap style would suit, it's that one. Good luck to the man, always liked him at talkSPORT.

According to an interview in his local paper (Portsmouth area?), it was to do with contractual negotiations that has been on going since last summer.
