[Smart Mart]

Not sure if this is posted in the right place but here goes...

I work for the media department of a Football League club and also have responsibility for supporter liaison too, building bridges between the supporters and the club. It's a hard job but obviously my dream job as I've supported them since I was three (nearly forty years now).

Anyway we have an independent message board but it is constantly being hijacked by trolls, posters who have huge amounts of posts but either deliberately post drivel to derail the threads or making inane comments. It's ruining the message board and lots of decent posters are leaving and going elsewhere.

I want to start up my own forum which needs to be pretty safe and secure and preferably free as I have no budget to operate one. I've googled around but can't really find what I'm looking for - I've seen phpBB forums which aren't far away from what I want.

Is there any message board designers on here or anyone else who could point me the right way? Thanks in advance.

Google Zetaboards if you haven't heard of them already. Free, big community if you get stuck, a wide range of resources to customise the look or anything else.
