Just read this on Sky News.. Terrible news.

My Dad met him at a boxing dinner, said he was an excellent chap.

Bloody hell, just walked in at 430am to this news on the BBC. Very decent fellow indeed and I trust he'll receive nothing but good words to send him on his way.

Rest in peace old boy.

I must be honest i thought he was a lot older. I remember the Bugner fight I think his problem as a fighter was a cut that kept letting him down.Had the heart of a lion. Another Icon gone from my childhood.I also remember him from around with Aliss playing Golf and of course him and Kevin Keegan and the Brut adverts.A very unassuming man a gentleman.RIP.

Well when was his last fight early mid 70's there a re lot of people too young to remember him.Pity that Clay cheated him out of a world championship belt that night then maybe more would have known his name.
