abrupt throttle

had my car about 5 weeks now,everything ok.
just one thing ive noticed is when im in traffic,in gear but off the throttle, after a moment i can feel the throttle shut off or at least cut back and then when i come back on theres a little shunt on take up,might have always been like that but i cant say i noticed?
just wondered.

Yep. Sounds normal. The ECU drops the revs back gradually to get to correct tickover rpm, but it'll keep the tickover rpm slightly higher if the car is moving.
