Sussex servicing
Discussion
Hi,
I'm don't live in the sussex area, but down in the Bournemouth area a cambelt change for an S3 Turbo is around £230. I'm not sure whether that's what you were expecting!? I buy the belt for around £30-35 and do the job myself, it's not difficult believe me! Other jobs on the other hand I'd rather pay someone to do them!!!
Cheers.

Hi im over in west sussex 1986 turbo, in sussex its self there isnt really anywhere i would recomend obviously there is frosts in shoreham but wouldnt go anywhere near them they quoted me 15k for an engine rebuild! There is also fiberglass services in walberton but Miles is the guy who runs that and he is lets just say a bit of a character and dosnt seem to have any pricing structure except what he feels like charging you. If you are prepared to travel a little bit then there is both lakeside engineering and esprit engineering a simple google search will bring them both up. I have used lakeside and would tottaly recomend them Max is the head guy there to speak to and my esprit is with them at the moment for an accident repair. I have never used esprit engineering before but have only heard good things. Also dont be scared of getting a little greassy yourself i have undertaken a full rebuild myself and it wasnt that complicated so if you need any more advice just let me know
Thanks for the advice, I guess I should have more faith in the engineering and my mechanic skills but it would be nice to have a good garage that is near if something goes badly wrong, it won't put me off if I should go the Esprit route though!
As a matter of interest can one be used as a daily car? I have seen a couple advertised with Paul matty for example with recent engine rebuilds which would seem ideal!
