91 se rear brake pads

I need new rear brake pads. I have heard u can use the lecar front brake pads. Any one know for sure what u can use in place of the factory pads? Thanks

The rear brake pads are shared with a whole host of Renaults - 5, 21 and 25 for certain. This means there are loads of replacement pad manufacturers. I have just fitted EBC to mine. Sadly they are only the standard ones as to fit the Green Stuff (better rating) I would have had to have replaced the fronts as well which were brand new OEM ones.

Fitted the green stuff EBC pads front and rear and great improvement in braking, UK cost £79 GBP for both sets. Not sure of US prices but would recommend an upgrade

Not sure you're missing anything with the rear EBC Green Stuff DP2189. I have a set sitting in front of me and the friction material looks identical to the standard EBC pad DP189. This material is very different than the EBC green stuff front pad material DP2456.

Anyone else struck this ?
