...last night after work... I thought I'd check out the Sandweiler - Remich route that someone reviewed three years ago and had a complete blast. The weather changed for the better, the sun came out and I had a fantastic run along the side of the River Mousel. Plenty of long curves, great countryside and near empty roads!
Today it's business as usual and raining and miserable, but for an hour or two last night......

Edited to add: There's a couple of parts where the hillside by the road has been reinforced with a huge concrete wall and the noise reverberating back from the twin sports pipes I've got was just fabulous!

Hello Charles,
Yep me too last night left work looked at the weather and thought why not, took the Esprit for a run in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside with the fiancée, bar supper (No beer for me though). Roads were clear dry and we had the roof open so we could hear the sports exhaust howl. Arrived home and Suzanne said Errr you are not using the Lotus tomorrow are you ?
Me thinks she enjoyed the blast and today I in the Jeep !!

Have a good weekend

LOL!
Well, I think that's going to be the best jaunt this week... The forecast's bloody awful well into next week...
You posting about driving in Scotland makes me realise how long it's been since I was up there... Far too long... For me there's nothing better than driving out in the country and the wilder, the better, so Scotland's always been high on my list of places I adore...

Have a good weekend yourself,

Charles
