Here's something Fishy might be interested in to sparkle up his engine bay on his Giugiaro. Just taken these pics of the first to come off the line. they are availible in stainless or aluminium and will be availible in any model of esprit (subject ot me pulling my finger out and getting drawings finished). You know who makes them as i always plug them but incase some of you don't, e-mail me and I'll give you details. Circa £100 will buy you one of these + VAT

Dave,

Is this header tank for the S1 and S2's exclusively? The header tank on my '85 'G' Turbo does not have a footing mount. Rather, it has a side mount welded to it which bolts through the ignition box. I don't think the tank in your photo will work for the Turbos, although I may be wrong. Happy Motoring! ...Jim'85TE

Yum.

If there's one that will fit a S3 Turbo, then I'll stump up the cash.

The one on my car is a nasty piece of work.

Hi Jim,

They've worked to priority of age order and most older models are obselete. This is the S1/S2 model. I am doing the CAD drawings for each header tank. I have an old header tank for the S3 turbo model in the boot (trunk) of my car. I will be drawing it this weekend ready to be made next week. Do you want me to take a pic of it and post it up on here to make sure it's the same one? Iam sure it is.
Next will be the stevens etc etc

Does this explain things now?

Hi Pat, long time no speak.

The S3 and turbo will hopefully be ready in about a couple of weeks. So can I put you down for one then?

Cheers,

Hi Dave.

Yep, I'll have one.

Was talking about you a couple of weeks ago - PNM did a cambelt change for me and supplied me with a set of plugs, filter, oil and a Green air filter. I was very pleased with their service.

The Esprit is now snortier than ever and goes like a bomb.

Next job is the steering rack.... Never a dull moment with one of Chapman's shoddy creations

Cheers

Pat

Pat I've tell Pete that you'll have one. As for steering racks, Pete's your man.

Yes please Dave, count me in. Is it a pretty straight forward procedure taking the old tank out disconecting pipes etc? Otherwise I will get some help to fit it no worries.
Cheers

She looks fantastic ! - the S4S is probably my favourite Esprit (maybe Sport 300) - looks as though you'll have a weekend you won't forget driving this around - she's obviously been well looked after, keep us posted of your new experiences with her

I might start a new thread shortly so not to go off on a tangent. Mike, it's fantastic! i haven't driven it yet since driving it home on Saturday from Cardiff. Missus is giving me grief because we are in the middle of decorating.
Won't get chance to drive it until the weekend. This will give me chance to get to know it a little better.
