Esprit turbo are these engine interference or non?

Are these engine interference or non interference?
I’m trying to find a 88-91 Espirt turbo with either a blown engine or blown turbo where is the best place to look?

They are interference engines. Watch Pistonheads classifieds and Ebay for troubled Esprits.

so where would one look for new valves? where is the best parts supplier for these beast? any good links?

In the USA, JAE has the best pricing and Jeff is very knowledgeable. But Dave Bean Engineering, Sportscar World, Tingles Lotus Center, rd Enterprises and your nearest Lotus dealer can all get valves for you.

Take your head to a reputable machine shop in your area. Valves are nothing special and a good shop will have no problem turning up the proper valves for the motor at, I'm willing to bet, much lower prices than a Lotus dealer.
