I frequently see Esprits for sale at Naples Motorsports in Florida. Has anyone had experience purchasing and shipping cars from there. I have considered flying out to Florida (assuming the cars survived the hurricanes)to check out some Esprits. I live in the San Francisco Bay area.

I purchased my car from Naples.

All I have to say is that the transaction went smoothly. They use a top quality shipping firm to transport thier cars (at least they recommend), Exotic car transport.

They seem to be able to find a lot of low mile Esprits,
mine had 8K on the clock when I bought it July of 03'.

There were some problems with the car that were not outwardly appearant, such as the suspension and driver window motor.

The PO had cut the springs, lowering the car, but never bothered to have it aligned. It was down right dangerous to drive over 60mph. The window motor quit on me upon delivery, I went to put it up before I retired from drooling on it out in the driveway the day I got it and "click, click" it wouldn't move (delivered to me with the windows down).

Supposedly Naples had a problem getting the car running right before shipping it to me and it required their mechanic to replace the fuel injectors. I got no record of the work done on the car, only a reciept for a new battery. Although the car has run flawlessly for the one year + that I've owned it.

In the end thier all "car salesmen" but the fact that they have a lot of repeat customers shows that either there are a lot of gullable exotic car buyers out there or that Naples is doing something right.

Thanks for the info! Naturally I would like to find an Esprit closer to home but may consider Naples. Thanks again.
