Just in case no-ones spotted it there's an active suspension development Esprit coming up for auction:

So I'd assume not 'usually serious' trouble, it'd be undoubtably difficult trying to get the active suspension working again.

PS: apologies to anyone who had spotted it and was planning a sneaky bid...

Looks nice but making it driveable would take away some of its uniqueness.

Many years ago, in another life, I worked on that suspension, and a Jaguar XJS running a derivative of the same set up.
