Edward - the picture has to be hosted somewhere on the web first.. e.g on fotango or similar free picture site. Then put

[pic] xxxxxxxx [/pic]

where xxxxxxxx is the address (URL) of the picture. If you don't know what this is, just right click on the picture in fotango and select properties. It will show you what the url is. Oh, and make sure there are no spaces between the url and the square brackets either before or after or it won't work, see egomes post earlier, that Ernest had to edit

All I see are Red X's. Can anyone else see them?

bizarre as for me, sometimes they appear and sometimes they do not!

Red crosses mean the picture can't be found. You can try right-clicking on them and selecting "Show Picture". It that doe snot work then the URL is definately wrong. When you write the post, click preview and if you can see your picture in the preview window then you should be okay.
