TYRES FOR ESPRIT

Esprit 3D Screen Saver
Can't get enough Esprit? A new screen saver is available for free download. It features a 1989 Esprit Turbo in 3D. Options allow you to adjust the rotation angles, camera angles, speed, etc. Well worth a download.

PZero's are not alright, they are a sack of sh*te. I took mine off well before they needed replacing because they are so awful in the wet. In the dry the are okay. Do not, under any circumstances fit Pzero's.
Oh yes, in case you're wondering, I have Goodyear F1 and GS-A's on mine.

Doors, what are they really like to drive on? Have you really pushed the car hard on corners etc for a good comparision against your old ones? I just want to make sure they really rock before I get mine, which is real soon.
Cheers

I just fitted Pirelli Pzero on one of my S4s. PZero Nero Directionale on the front and Pzero Rosso Assimetrico on the rear.
Next week, the other S4s is getting Michelin Pilot Sports all around.
Since both cars are identical, it will make a good comparison between the tyres. The Michelin's are what Lotus recomends on the S4s (euro spec).
So far, I hate the look of the Pirelli's, especially on the front, but they perform sensationally well. Best way to describe it is - remember when you were a kid and the tyres on your bike were going flat, and then you pumped them up? Remember how 'agile' the bike was? That's how the Pirelli's feel.
However, it could be just in my mind, but they seem a bit louder and maybe 'jumpier' than the previous factory fitted Michelin's Pilot MXXX3 that were on the car.

Hi Kylie,
I haven't pushed the car hard yet as I'm waiting to get the suspension fully sorted yet (and the roads near me are awful).
I do find them super grippy though - fantastic, and certainly an improvement over the Avons I had before.
I've put a new picture up at:
http://community.webshots.com/scrpts/controlPanel.fcgi
...under both wheels - last picture. I'll get a better picture of the tyres soon.
I can't say whether the Toyos are better or not than others as I haven't tried them all - but I can say you won't be dissapointed!

Sorry can't seem to view pics, they redirect me to webshots home page. Cool to hear you like them so far.
Interesting to see a contrast of views on the Pzeros from Adrian and andecorp as well.

Edited to say: webshots is completely crap. I'm now using imagestation.com which seems to have no problem in remote linking...

Thanks Rob,
The first link works for me (as it should) but the second tells me I'm forbidden - is this actually a link to MY pictures? If so, that's a bit bizarre!
Kylie, if you send me your email address to Doorsey@hotmail.com I'll take some pics of the tyres and send them to you if you'd like?
