I've just bought a rear valance for my 1990 turbo and it's in the paint shop. I ripped out the old mesh as it was really knackered. Don't know whether to put the same back, or put aluminium diagonal pattern or perforated stainless/aluminium? The colour of my car is Norfolk Mustard just incase any of you forgot.
I've seen Stephen Rhedl's black 91SE with stainless steel perforated mesh which looks really good but don't know whether I want ot highlight or hide the stainless steel backbox that you would see using the normal mesh.
Any advise or comments will be much appreciated.

Cheers,

You could paint the perf screen black as you have many black or dark trim parts.

I haven't got a clue what the exchange rate is but in pounds it's costing me £80 painted and fitted. Is that about $120??

Sounds like a good idea though thinking about it, if I want to show off the exhaust, I would prefer a more open look of the chicken wire but maybe try to find it in aluminium.

Thanks

I had been thinking about doing the same thing with a perf screen in black. I have been chatting to one of my vendors that supplies a very fine aluminum perf rack panels for my audio rack vents. Almost nothing there as every other row are offset from each other. I need larger sections and am wondering if he can make the size I need.

This darn economy as slowed many projects for the Esprit. Even my plastics fabricators has side lined the affordable plexi sun roof panel as time and money are tight now.

Let me know how your project turns out.
