Im totally psyched. I just bought a perfect Black on Tan 95.5 s4s with 7k miles. I cant wait for it to be delivered. Ive been dreaming about getting a lotus esprit since i was in jr. high. After doing alot of research i realized the 95 S4s was the best esprit ever. After looking for over 6 months for the right car through 3 brokers, i Finally found my car. WOW!!! I hope to meet up with some of you guys so we can check out each others cars
I was tossing between a F-car Mondial coupe T, and the S4s right at the end. Everyone i talked to said the Lotus was superior so i ordered my new s4s. I cant wait!!! I got it from Lotus Atlanta where the car was brought up to 100 pts. Now I know its coming i am silly with excitement. My dreams are coming true!!!!

I live in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Half way between Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale on the east coast.
Please let me know how it looked in person. Do you know anything about this particular car??? Did it seem 100% when you saw it? I bought this car unseen based on the fact it was the S4s and it was brought up to a perfect 100pts according to the dealer. I cant wait to get my car!!! Tell me anything you can....

I remember not looking at it very closely becuse I was interested in the V8s, but the ouside looked fine to me -- no obvious faults. It is black though and I didn't really look so that's not saying much. I did, however, sit in it and the interior looked to be in WONDERFUL shape.

I ordered it through another dealer in florida i was working with to locate the car. Paid for it on Friday. Check went out monday. Car was listed as sold tuesday. Hope its on its way!!! Maybe friday?? Sooner??? I cant wait. I let you know when it comes, maybe we can get a group of lotus owners together in south florida....
It should be noted that this toy was the cause of much fighting a few weeks back. So please, let us know how it is.

its all good. If the car is even close to being as perfect as they say it is, I will be thrilled.
Do you think tinting the windows brings down the value of the car? I was also thinking of sprucing up the interior with some v8 stuff like brushed metal switches and shifter and sills. Are these upgrades hard to get or can i just go to the local lotus dealer and have them put in??

Azzkicker had his windows done and they look great on a black S4. Don't worry about the car's value. If you bought it as an investment, you just made the worst mistake of your life

You won't lose any value if you tint the windows.

mine is the 95.5 us version s4s without the fender flares. I want the flares and lower but i will wait till i get an anniversary ed 2002. I might even be getting the car today! or maybe early next week. Its on a truck from atlanta.. paid, insured, waiting,,,,

your car left here yesterday. Just out of curiosity, who hired the truck? Anyways, I hope that you enjoy it. It is a really nice car that I actually drove for a little while. I enjoyed it and I am sure you will do the same. I would also like to know how your experience goes with Don L. I have heard some good things and some bad so please share with me.
