Posted a comment on another forum about something weird I saw on my sport 350 odometer LCD the other day. No real answer yet so thought I'd try here too.
Had a couple of hours of engine warning light that then went out after a few restarts (may be unrelated). After filling up, was resetting odo trip as the engine turned over and the odo LCD then changed to show 'PULSE' followed after a few seconds by a six digit number.
My real concern (apart from finding out what 'mode' that was) is that I think I modified the number by 10 while I was trying to clear things back to normal.
So, what have I gone and changed? Any ideas anyone?
Cheers

You wound up in calibration mode... download the PDF file at the link below. It contains installation instructions and how you setup the speedometer.

Many thanks KM - that's exactly what I needed. Now all I need is someone with a sport 350 to tell me what the number should be. I've changed one of the digits slightly if I recall correctly.
So by all accounts I've modified the pulse-per-mile count by about 0.1% I think.
Cheers again matey.

For anyone interested, after having the Lotus dealer hook the car up to their diagnostic gizmo (and yes, I did intend trying to kit myself out with the required bits to do this) it appears my warning light is due to:
Fuel injection no 2 cylinder electrical circuit
which explains why it sounded the other day like it wasn't firing on all cylinders properly.
So, fingers crossed it will be a simple warranty issue......
