Calypso red, and I'm starting collect my own set of chips on the front bumper, etc.

What do you recommend to fill/cover?

BTW, the personalized plates came in yesterday...I had to go find and buy a Torx tamper-resistant bit set to remove the existing plate.

INFRNAL.

If you have a lot, you will need to load spray cans at the paint store. I am planning on taking my wind deflector to have it scanned, custom paint mix, and have it loaded into cans. Spray the chips, sand with 1000 grit, then go higher, then hit it with fine cut and a buffer.

No, just a couple. But I want to hit them before they become numerous.

Take your wind defecltor to a paint shop. They have a rack with small bottles of touch up paint. Build up the surface of the chip, hit it with 1500/2000 grit paper, then fine cut w/ a buffer. Can't tell after that as one has to get on the hands and knees get real close to tell if you have done a touch up.

Ernest- do you know if that 'Mothers' product has an equivalent in the UK? I've heard a lot about various Mothers' products on US fora, but I've not seen them over here. Is it light cutting compound by any chance?

TIA

I don't know if there is an equivalent. Basically, the mothers product works as a "chemical sandpaper" but seems to only interact with the touch up paint (wipes right off the surrounding paint). I like it because I didn't like the idea of accidentally scratching the surrounding paint with sandpaper...

Cheers
