I'm installing a clutch for an S4S in my 91 SE today. My manual states that the adjuster at the end of the release fork be set at 12.5 mm past the adjuster locknut. Is this setting the same for an S4S clutch? My manual only covers up to 92 model year.

Cheers

John,

The manual states for the later model 4 cyl that the dimension of the threaded abutment is to be 9-12mm past the end of the locknut.

Do you also have the specs for the clutch pedal upstop and downstops and pedal travel dimensions?

Hope this helps.

Yes, I have the other dimensions but they are for the SE. I know that the S4S is fitted with a larger clutch master cylinder, but I'm was not sure if the dimensions at the release fork are the same as the SE. Looks as though they are.
Thanks Jim

The clutch requires the use of an S4s master. Do not use the SE master of the clutch will not fully release. This is a fact.
