Matt,

The red interior sort of limits you. Of course, a deep Gloss Black is always in vogue and a nice Silver or Titanium such as the Acura NSX Titanium would look great.

Red/Red, BRG or Yellow may look a little garish with the Red interior. And there is always White. If you want to upspend, the new paints which change hue could be nice such as the BMW black w/ a reddish hue at certain angles and certain light. Decisions...Decisions. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

Having owned an 83 turbo, I always like the connection of that body style with the James Bond films. Therefore, my choices would be white or burgundy. However repainting it to match the orginal Essex colors and graphics would be awsome too!

Surely it will be easier to respray the same colour.

The under bonnet will not need much preparation and you won't need to remove things like VIN plates etc.

Essex blue is a pretty good colour and the original Essex cars are among the most sought after early Esprits. It also goes really well with the red interior.

Incidentally, mine is Monaco white with red half leather. I love it, but it is a bit too Roger Moore for some....

I agree, stay with the blue. They look very nice. Plus, it'll save you a good amount of money.

For me, the Turbo has never looked better than the two examples in the Bond film. A white paint job would instantly tone with your interior, whilst I have even seen (in Jeremy Walton's book I think) a copper one with a red interior. Doesn't sound nice, but it was.
Metallic BRG would look good too, if you wanted to be less Roger Moore-ish.
Cheers

Hi depends on how much you want to spend really. I think glossy black with a blue pearl through it would be just it. The blue pearl would always make it look wet. The other option is to redye the interior a darker colour if you are going for yellow etc.
