Any Esprits on my route?

I'm planning a trip.

Memphis to Monroe (LA) to New Orleans in September.
(Mind you Hertz can only supply me a Mustang Conv(?) for my sins)

Will I see any Esprits en route?

You could detour southeast to Starkville, MS. I have an 83 Turbo currently in restoration phase. It would be out of the way but not by too much. I've been trying to get a pack of JPS cigarettes for my center console. If you could get a pack maybe we could meet somewhere if you couldn't get over to Starkville. I grew up in the Mario F1 years and I have great memories of the JPS Special '78 and '79. When I owned a '72 Lotus Europa I had a pack on the center console and it was always a great conversation piece.

I had a look at the site and saw the Players cigarette box. I couldn't zoom in too much but it doesn't appear to be the same as I remember. The pack is black but I remember John Player Special written in gold raised letters on the pack. Do they still make JPS in England?

I saw the JPS smokes in Norwich England last July and they are still out there.... I almost brought them for my display and did not.... kicking myself in the arrse!
These were like the ones I saw some 20 plus years ago, black box with gold lettering.
