In the market for a Esprit in a few months.

Hello every one. Just wanted to say HI. In the next few months I will be ready to buy my first Esprit. I like the way the S4s sits or I just might buy the V8. Is there any thing I should know about the S4s or the V8. I have for many months of research in both of the cars. I just want to get some input from some owners.

The relative merits of the 4 cylinder and v8 cars have been discussed extensively on this site... search the archives and you'll find plenty of information.

Read the espritfact file and lotus esprit world. Join the yahoo group. Drive several cars before you decide etc..

i think you have a much better chance of getting a V8 than a us s4s as there are only about 150 s4s americas, But there is 1 in NC in the classified section.. I have seen a couple low mile s4s sell for more than simmilar mile v8's. Unless you are a collector or you have to have the s4s you might save alot of time by getting a V8. You can get one in just about any color you want too...Either way you will love driving the esprit..
