My SE chargecooler has just started a really annoying 'miss' very occasionally while running. Me thinks it may be ignition leads. Have of course replaced plugs and ordered some new KV85 leads (very nice) did anyone else get this ???

Thoughts..........

many times when you miss or drop a cylinder it is directly related to the coils or plug caps.. try the new cables with NGK plug caps.. Ive had miss problems on oyher engines and trimming the cables and puting new coil/boots/caps fixed it every time. You can run your engine in the dark and see sparks emmiting if there is a crack in one of your boots...

Humm interresting, so more likely the boots than the cable itself. I always thought the cables would be the culprit due to their routing close to the turbo, heat etc....Thanks for that
