removal of centre console

can anyone please point me in the right direction for removing the centre console?
my interior is only 1/2 leather and the console is in material at the moment.My plan is to get it recoverd in magnolia leather but i cant find any of the screws its secured with????

You do know that Mad Mike was thinking of dying his Magnolia interior black.
His interior leather bits were in pretty good condition when Frank the former owner had his SE. Frank was kinda of anal about stuff like that.
I wonder if you could work out a deal with Mike to buy his magnolia interior leather pieces and then he could buy new raven interior pieces than trying go through the time consuming process and hassle of dyeing the leather parts. The only thing that would not fit is the seat leather as it is different in the 93.
I will email or post how to disassemble the center console when I consult the book. I could probably remember all the steps and how to do it without the book, but the rule here is not to offer any instructions unless one is absolutely sure. We must all follow this rule lest we lead someone into a costly mistake.

On mine the centre console has a 'tab' that tucks under the little bin on the rear firewall, while at the front, the leading edge is held down with a piece of Velcro. I pull the back bit forward first taking care not to damage the leather, then tilt up the console and separate the Velcro at the front. The gaiter has a bit of knicker elastic as a drawstring that's tied in a bow.
