Do you care how it comes out of car?
There is an easy way if you do not care about what the condition it is in if it is broken and you will be installing a non powered antenna. It involves cutting the old in half and taking it out in pieces. Many people try and take it out in one piece and that is a hassle. I had a good laugh at one person who disassembled his dash to take the antenna out only to plug the hole and put in one of the V8 type antennas.

Any hints on getting the aerial out on a Stevens? The antennae is located on the left side of my LHD 89, and the directions all point to taking it off the other side and accessing through the glove box area. I can just see the antennae motor under there but can't figure it out short of a dash removal.
