Is it just the essex & turbo's that had white lettering on the tyres or were there any other makes?

Just wondering

As far as I know, it was only the Essex Turbos.

Oh, and Goodyears are no longer available for rears....

In the UK the only "choice" is the Pirelli P600, but you can't get a matching P600 front....

I have just fitted P600 rears with P6000 fronts. Many people keep the Goodyear fronts and put the P600 on the rear.

In the USA you get a better choice, but that's not much use to us.

I paid £260 inc VAT for the 4 loose tyres.

This was cost price to my supplier, who owed me a favour.

The best "retail" price I found was £281 inc VAT for the loose tyres. (£107.88 for the 2 fronts and £173.12 for the 2 rears.)

I use a local mobile mechanic to fit tyres. He comes to my house and charges me £30 a car set for fitting and balancing with stick on weights. He also doesn't damage the rims.
