I spoke to S.J. Sports Cars yesterday and they offered me an adjustable spring and damper set up at a very reasonable price. Has anyone used S.J's adjustable Spring and damper set up on an Esprit Turbo and if so how does it perform in comparison with the original equipment?

Regards MIke

Mike,

What year Esprit are you talking about? What brand shocks?

Thanks, Rich

Mike,

Steve Roberts (the 'S' of SJSportscars) specializes in the Esprit and produces several aftermarket components in-house. I suspect that if he spec'd this suspension set-up for the Esprit it will be a good one.

I have done business with Steve for years and found him to be knowledgeable, helpful and extremely ethical to deal with. I have several of his in-house upgrades and have been pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the increase in performance over the stock component.

There is a lot of subjectivity involved in rating a suspension set-up for a street car, but if Steve is promoting it, I'd say, from past experience, go for it! Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

Thanks for the reply, I think for the cost saving over the original equipment price and other after market branded products it has to be worth a try.

The car is a 1989 pearl white Ltd Edition turbo.
