You may already know of this one, but here it is anyway:

www.strattonmotorcompany.com/Lotus%20Used%20Cars/hcturbo.html

I've actually seen it, and it does have to be seen to be believed. The log book actually says, HRH King Hussein of Jordan. Its just like it came out of the factory and its the HC version too. Am very tempted, but its too rich for my blood at that money....

Great looking 'G' model. It has an unusual front air dam, looks great, maybe a one-off?

But, you don't need to be the King of Jordan to have a nice Esprit. Calvin Hamada has the best looking Red SE I've ever seen. To my mind, Calvin's had it in 4 shows and has won three awards with it (isn't that right Calvin?). My Black/Tan '85 Turbo 'G' model has been in 4 shows and taken three 1st Place awards. We even each won awards at the All Lotus Concours at the Annual Lotus Convention last fall. All it takes is some elbow grease, some Zaino Brothers products (www.zainobros.com/) and attention to detail! Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

The 'pillarless' (for want of a much better word) front airdam was standard on the late G-Car Turbo Esprit HC's of 1987. (As can hopefully be seen on mine on www.lotusespritworld.co.uk/EOwners/JimCartner.html)

Yes - I think they are rather nice!!!! ;o)

Must say that MadMike (check profile) has a fairly attractive Red SE as well...

The really late ones also had a two slot grille in the bonnet...

Here's a really old pic of mine taken by a previous owner.

Jim,
Thanks for your kind words. Your car is by far the cleanest G car I have seen to date. But I think all of all the Esprit's are nice. While many will think that Tim Engel's Esprit is less than pristine it is the fastest N/A Esprit I know of. Especially when driven by either Tim or his son Jeremy. While I may have an advantage on a more open course I have no doubt that when driven by them on a tight course they will be quicker than all but the fastest Esprit's with a driver with superior skill.

Hey I'm going to put in the Dave Cammack adjustable rear suspension into my car next week. Dave put in the protype a few weeks ago and it seems to be doing well. At the same time I will probably redo the seals on my right rear quarter glass.

Calvin,

Thank you for the kind words. Hey, we're putting the adjustable rear upper links in my car Thurs. nite at the 'ToyBox'. Why don't you plan on joining us? Maybe we can get some mexican takeout from El Burrito or something...let me know...Jim'85TE
